Papercutting Inspiration

I've recently become facinated with the sculptural properties of paper. Today I have posted a few pictures of some contemporary work in this area.

I want to put a shout out to the artist who sparked my inspiration. I found the work of Thomas Allen on the book covers desinged by Chip Kidd, and recently refound his work in Kidd's retrospective tome. I Googled, found his blog, and sent him his first fan letter.
