One of my pet peeves; I want to know how other people respond: Can anything truly be in "mint condtion" other than coinage? Perhaps they could be in "factory condition," but not mint.
1. CoyoteMike- Aghh, yes the shit from the franklin mint I suppose woulb be in mint condition given that a "mint" is its provenance
2. Most goods since the industrial revolution are created in a factory, or a plant of some sort. When describing the state of something, refer back to wence it came. Example "Wow, this steak is in pakinghouse condition, even after two years in the freezer."

What about mints? Aren't they always in mint condition?
They are candy confections. We shall then, hence forth, refer to them (in pristine condtion) as: confectionery condition.
What about all the crap that comes from the Franklin Mint? Wouldn't that be mint condition when its new?
